Travel from Kentucky - to Tennesse - to Virginia

April 17th - Travel on April 14th and 15th. - - - Well, after drooling all over the old and new Corvettes in Bowling Green, Kentucky, it was time to get back into the car and do some more driving. While I'm not sure what possessed me, as I was heading East in Kentucky, I decided to take a slight detour to the South...see some back country...and then go into Tenessess (not planned originally). While some may wonder why I'd drive the extra miles JUST to go into Tennessee, it might help you understand that I'm really enjoying the time behind the wheel so far. - - - With that in mind, I started heading toward Virginia and my Sister (Kathleen) and her husband's (Bill) house in Mansassas, Virginia.
The two signs above show an area that was litterally a couple minutes from the Tennessee border.
This was the view I had from inside the car (still in Kentucky).
While everyone may not think it's that great, while driving, I was in Kentucky...then Tennessee...then Virginia in just around 3 minutes of driving time. I wasn't confused...it just worked that way. Sort of cool (I thought)... The pictures below show some of the scenery after entering Virginia. I guess I didn't realize there was so much farmland, so I tried to get a few different pictures of how the scenery changed. Wish the pictures represented the beauty better. It was awesome!
