Return to LaPorte from Indy 500

May 31st - After attending the Indy 500, we drove back to my home town of LaPorte, Indiana. On the way, we saw some things that I hope will be interesting to readers. This first couple show some wind turbines, and some of the large storage bins used to hold grain for trains passing by. The 3rd picture shows some of the storage bins on one of the farms.

Since we'd seen a unique restaurant (the "Whistle Stop") on the way to Indy, we decided to stop there on the way home. From the pictures, one can see the why we thought it was unique. We were both glad that the food and service was outstanding.

These last 2 pictures show some swans passing by my Brother and Sister-in-Law's home. Note the "ugly duckling" as there were two white babies and one gray one. They were ALL awesome to watch.
