June 10th - Well, I've got a few more pictures to show with people in the Vette, as well as a couple other general pictures. - - - The 1st two show what is currently the youngest person that's EVER been in my Corvette (since 1973 when I first bought the car). - - - After seeing Evan (Jon and Renee's Son) actually sitting in the car, I wasn't sure if he was just proud of being a "big boy" in the car OR if he was just looking around for the keys so he could take a drive. Since he doesn't yet have his license, I just couldn't bring myself to give him the keys...but maybe in another 16 years. - - - My...wouldn't the ladies REALLY have to look out if he went for a drive?
My Nephew Jon has already taken the car for a drive, but, as you can see from the pictures below, he DEFINITELY looked like the car fit him well. What a studly looking guy.
For some reason, the picture below makes me feel like I should be listening to Michael Jackson's song "Bad." Nice shot Jon!
While Jon looked awesome, I have to admit that all the ladies pictured in my posts look mighty nice. Aileen (Matt's friend from New Zealand) was no exception. - - - I had to laugh when I took Aileen for a ride. She had a great laugh/giggle each and every time I hit the gas hard. Then, when we got done, she said it was as much fun as any ride she'd ever been on in the various "Great America" amusement parks. Just one more statement that explains why it's fun to own a Vette. - - - Just as a side comment, she looks very similar to Danica Patrick. Maybe Aileen's next big ride will be driving an Indy Racing car....then she can take Uncle Tom for a ride!
WOW! ALL my posts certainly capture a trip of a lifetime...and I still have a few weeks to go. - - - Am off to see the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Soxs baseball game tomorrow. We "may" even get a chance to see the Chicago Blackhawks...the new Stanley Cup Champions. - - - On Saturday, I'm flying back to Virginia to attend my Niece (Megan's) graduation.
