ATV Ride

May 21st - Another day of fun was planned as we'd decided to take off on an ATV trip. Since there were lots of trails used for ATVs (summer) and snowmobiles (winter), it was just a matter of deciding where we wanted to go. Fortunately, I had a great tour guide (Ralph) and he took me to several awesome locations...and we ended up traveling 70 miles. - - - We first went to this somewhat secluded lake where we got to see a couple bald eagles and took a couple pictures before heading into the woods.

One of our first stops was back to Agate Falls. I loved it so much the day before, I wanted to get more video of the falls, plus show the way we got to the falls via the trails. The first picture shows the bridge we came across when traveling by road (the day before). The second picture shows the trail bridge we crossed on the ATVs (as viewed from the falls).
Ralph on the bridge.
Here we are with the falls and river right behind us.
The following video shows the main body of falls....it was so beautiful!

As one might imagine, drinking plenty of fluid, and hitting a few bumps on the trails, we needed to use the facilities. Fortunately, one of Ralph's friends has a remote hunting camp, with a new outhouse. Aaaahhhhhhhhhhh.....I felt like I could ride for hours AFTER my stop, so I jumped back on the ATV and was ready to head down the road. LOL
This final video shows Wildman Tom. So much of the ride was through forest just like that shown in the video. What a fun time!!!!
