Due to bad weather forecasted in Colorado (Spring snow), I decided to leave a day earlier than initially planned. While I still fought a 25 mph+ headwind the whole way, at least I wasn't driving in the snow. - - - Based on the weather reports, it sounds like I made a good choice as the snow has really been coming down in Colorado. - - - The Corvette performed VERY well...even with the headwind. - - - I drove @ 325 miles and the car got just over 20 mpg. Can't wait to see what it gets if there's no headwind OR a tailwind. - - - Stopped for breakfast at the pictured restaurant and got treated like royalty. The waitress asked me to sign their VIP visitor log and enter a short summary of my trip. You just got to love small-town USA people! - - - Plan to take it easy tomorrow and not drive very far since I don't need to be in St Louis until Friday. - - - Am excited about St Louis as my Nephew will be meeting me there to attend the NCAA basketball Midwest Regional championship on Friday and Sunday. - - - Until later....
